‘Venti Jesus Please’ Book Review September 27, 2012

Title: Venti Jesus Please

Author: Greg Stier

Date I Finished Reading: September 12, 2012

My Rating: 4/5

This resource from Dare 2 Share ministries, is great…just a little too short šŸ˜¦ . This story is only around 80 or 100 pages long, but can really be a helpful tool for christian teens who want to share their faith. The book is a simple story about 3 buddies getting into a spiritual discussion at Starbucks. There is one christian witnessing to 2 non-believers inĀ a loving, friendly way.Ā Ā The book is written in the point of view of an atheist, and shows how we can lovingly witness to others without “cramming religion down their throat”. I would highly recommend my fellow teens to take an hour or so to read this book… it could very much benefit yourself, and your confidence in witnessing.

Title: Sticking Up for What I Believe: Answers to Spiritual Questions Teenagers Ask

Author: Gwendolyn Mitchell Diaz

Date I Finished Reading: September 6, 2012

My Rating: 5/5

This book is a great apologetics resource for teens. Gwendolyn wrote this book for her 4 sons, so it is written in a loving, motherly way. The book answers 11 questions that are frequently asked by teenagers regarding God, his word, and other spiritual matters. It does so with simple, practical answers that are easy to think on and be prepared to share. I really recommend my fellow teens to read this book, in an effort to strengthen and be ready to share their faith!
